Reeds Spring test results in 2013/2014 are some of the worst in the area and in the state. Teachers that challenge the administration to change/improve are asked to leave. There seems to be little pressure on students to improve themselves academically. There is extreme apathy on the part of teachers in all grades. Something needs to change in the school system.

academically way behind..... as student moving in freshmen yr, it was the same as my 6,7,8th at my old school. Seemed far behind, or at least I was placed behind due to lack of room in class rooms. Can't say "I" ever had a book there.... only a few classes that had hared soft back books, and a couple with hard backs throughout the 4yrs. ~Student~ A-B honor roll 90-100% Attendance till I got put there, from that point on grades didn't matter attendance dropped to ~47% I had hoped the school had changed but as a parent now. It don't seam as if it had. Moved my child back here last yr 5th grade, and no book. Again, I do NOT recommend this school.

I like my school. I do however, believe that the teachers need to be more disciplined, and punish the students that deserve it. Other than that, they're challenging, rewarding and an overall a perfect place to start an education if you have the motivation and responsibility.

Their academics aren't exactly the greatest I mean it's rediculious when people are like o it's cause I whent to Reeds. This is my second time back at this school and it just seemed to have gotten worse. They have little requirement and there is nothing for students to strive towards. They do on the other hand have pretty amazing teachers though I live everyone of my teachers and even ones I don't even have. They work with you if you are wriggling to see what they can do to help. They actually care and it's nice to see that in a school. Because trust me when I saw i've had my far share of teachers and schools.

I think some teachers need to be a little more disciplined and some teachers need to calm down. Other teachers need to pay attention in class. I believe some students should be punished alot harder. The teachers should have to be a little stricter on students that they know. By, Devin Heuck

This school lacks support for the arts and extracurricular activities other than sports. There is little parent involvement. It is hard to be involved unless in sports.

I waould have to say that the quality of this school's academic programs are very good. Extracurricular activities are avaliable to any student wanting to participate. Parnt involvment is ok.The parents interact when nessecary.

As a student at RSHS, I have never once felt like my friends at other schools know more than me simply because I go to a smaller high school. The staff does a wonderful job of making sure students know everything necessary to be successful in college. Technology in the building is state of the art, students and staff are very friendly, and the standards are high. I have certainly enjoyed my time at RSHS.
